Apex Scientific LLC operates this storefront and is responsible for the personal information described in this notice.
Information collected
When you acknowledge the site access notice, you may optionally provide an email address. When you create an account or place an order, Apex may receive the information you provide, including your name, email address, age and research-use confirmations, saved profile details, billing and shipping details, cart contents, research-purpose selection, order history, and messages about an order. Basic device, security, and site-usage information may also be processed.
Payments
The current checkout collects no card or bank credentials. Apex separately creates and emails invoices; an external payment provider collects payment details when you choose to pay through its invoice. Apex records manual confirmation of payment before fulfillment. Historical payment and order records may be retained for accounting and support.
Order communications and historical contact records
Current customer forms collect email, not phone numbers. Order confirmations and invoice-ready notifications use email and, for verified linked accounts, private Account messages. Automated text messaging is not available and no new text consent is requested or recorded. Previously supplied phone numbers and consent audit records may be retained with existing private order or account history under the retention and security practices below. How information is used
Information is used to operate checkout, process and fulfill orders, calculate tax and shipping, provide order updates, respond to customer questions, prevent fraud or misuse, maintain records, and improve site reliability.
Service providers
Information may be shared as needed with payment, hosting, tax, shipping, communications, and security providers that help operate the store. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or necessary to protect customers, the business, or the service.
Browser storage
The site uses necessary browser storage to keep your shopping bag, remember access confirmations and, when provided, carry the optional access email into checkout, carry your research-use attestation into checkout, and preserve essential site preferences. Clearing browser data may remove those saved choices.
No automatic marketing enrollment
Providing an optional access email, accessing an account, or placing an order does not by itself subscribe you to promotional marketing. Any optional marketing consent will be presented separately.
Retention and security
Anonymous access acknowledgements are stored only in your browser for up to 30 days. If you optionally provide an access email, the acknowledgement record may be retained for security and compliance purposes. Order, account, support, and business records are retained only as long as reasonably needed for operations, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute handling, and legal obligations. Reasonable safeguards are used, but no online system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices
You may request access to or correction or deletion of personal information, subject to identity verification and records Apex must keep. Use the secure form on the Contact page, choose “Privacy request,” and include enough detail to identify the request.
