Information collected

When you acknowledge the site access notice, create an account, or place an order, Apex may receive the information you provide, including your name, email address, age and research-use confirmations, saved profile details, billing and shipping details, cart contents, research-purpose selection, order history, and messages about an order. Basic device, security, and site-usage information may also be processed.

Payments

Payment details are collected and processed by Stripe. Apex receives transaction status and limited payment information needed to confirm and manage the order, but does not receive your complete card number.

How information is used

Information is used to operate checkout, process and fulfill orders, calculate tax and shipping, provide order updates, respond to customer questions, prevent fraud or misuse, maintain records, and improve site reliability.

Service providers

Information may be shared as needed with payment, hosting, tax, shipping, communications, and security providers that help operate the store. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or necessary to protect customers, the business, or the service.

Browser storage

The site uses necessary browser storage to keep your shopping bag, remember access confirmations and the email used for that acknowledgement, carry your research-use attestation into checkout, and preserve essential site preferences. Clearing browser data may remove those saved choices.

No automatic marketing enrollment

Providing an email to enter the site, access an account, or place an order does not by itself subscribe you to promotional marketing. Any optional marketing consent will be presented separately.

Retention and security

Order and business records are retained only as long as reasonably needed for operations, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute handling, and legal obligations. Reasonable safeguards are used, but no online system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices

You may request access to or correction or deletion of personal information, subject to identity verification and records Apex must keep. Use the contact method provided in order-related communications and include enough detail to identify the request.
